Bhutanese UNV registers President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai
January 2004

President Karzai was registered on Sunday 18 January by UN Volunteer Til Bahadur Subba (Bhutan) the UNDP Regional Registration Supervisor in Kabul.

Bhutanese Volunteers go to Africa

The first week of the Water Female Sheep Year saw the departure of two Bhutanese nationals to Africa, to offer their services as United Nations Volunteers: Mr. Tashi Dhendup, from Edi in Zhemgang Dzongkhag and Mr. Udai Gurung, from Sipsu, in Samtse Dzongkhag
